How cheap?
Thailand has great value for your money for visitors or expats, pound for pound except when you got scammed paying through the nose. That isn’t included in this answer.
Bangkok the capital city, is amazing with the River of King passing through, with countless exotic sights to die for.
Bangkok’s Chinatown is the ultimate, never-dull moment in that place.
All you need to do is keep your eyes where you walk not to get burned by cooking oil, do not kick stuff on the sidewalk, follow the Thais when crossing the road, and leave in one piece.
in fact, Bangkok offers all kinds of foods one can wish for as cheaply as spending just $1.0 —you got a great meal with ‘ 3 sticks of yummy Moo ping and sticky rice” besides, cheap and good lodging from the cost of a bed in a posh hostel for $10.50 a night… or $160 a month in a studio in Condo with gym and Swimming pool.
With state-of-the-art transport, from the third world, a motorcycle taxi to the first world BTS + MRT train network is pretty cool and CHEAP. Again, That isn’t included in the cost of a rip-off by Soi Cow boy’s lady of leisure and ladyboys in this answer.

Roaming in Thai’s local market is to rekindle their past bringing WW2’s memory back to mind.
Dealing with local authorities is a training ground to be humble, realizing that the ways in which the whole world has been doing are wrong and the Thai way is the ultimate.
Driving on rural Thai roads is fast and furious, traffic signals and pedestrian crossings are for show. Learning the hard way that— only the shrewd ones live to get back home in one piece.
Traffic laws are meant to be broken, to keep strictly followed only a nerd / an idiot do that, every single foreigner is pretty fast to adapt as man’s inclination will be expressive at its best in Thailand — do what you like!
Wait, I am not comparing Thailand to Libya or Somali, Thais respect foreigners and welcome everyone to the Land of Smiles, taste and see if you like the amazing life I mentioned earlier.
